This retreat is Covid secured!

I have been teaching yoga retreats for a few years now and absolutely love the feeling it gives me to nurture so many beautiful people and to see the change in them from when they arrive, a little tired and stressed and then leave feeling and looking a totally different person! it really is worth investing in yourself.

This venue is beautiful and calming.

Our yoga venue is on the very outskirts of the small town of Kissamos, also known as Kastelli, a small town which mostly
sells tractors to the local farming community. There is however a network of cobbled streets where you can find shops
and cafes leading to an area which overlooks the sea where there are traditional Cretan fish restaurants.
Our taverna, with its roof top yoga space, is situated right on the beach, our rooms are in the area immediately behind.
These taverna rooms are very simply furnished with pine beds. All accommodation is in en-suite rooms with air
conditioning. Most have a fridge and a hair dryer.
The sea is clean, warm and shallow making for easy swimming. A long quiet strand of golden sandy beach with
occasional shingle. Apart from sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and yoga you can visit ancient ruins, take a day cruise,
explore the Venetian town of Chania, walk gorges or just be still and enjoy the ocean.
Our hosts Mike and Maria will be feeding us after the morning yoga class and on selected evenings during the week – we
are keeping some evenings spare so we can visit the local restaurants.
Maria is a fantastic cook and during the week there will be the option of attending a cookery class where you will be
taught how to prepare traditional Greek vegetarian meals. – which we will then eat!
Includes: Accommodation, breakfast, group dinner on 5 set evenings including the arrival night, and yoga.
Not included: Flights, transfers, travel insurance, lunch, dinner on 2 evenings when we often go further afield and the
cost is then £10 – £15 depending on where we eat.
Travel: Fly to Chania. We will team people up to share transfers from Chania airport – a taxi is 60 euros and takes up to
3 people. N.B. Heraklion airport is two and a half hours away, please do not book a flight there without consulting the
