Personal belongings
Personal belongings brought to classes, workshops, retreats and events are done so at the owner’s risk and I can’t accept any liability for any loss or damage whatsoever to such items.

Fitness and Health
Yoga is safe for the majority of people. However there are certain conditions which require special attention. If you’re not sure please consult your GP beforehand. All participants must complete the questionnaire here before their first class, workshop, retreat or event. I reserve the right to decline participation to anyone if I consider that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered. 

Photos
I may take some photos in classes, workshops, retreat or events to use on my website, social media and for general marketing purposes. If you’d prefer me not to use any photos with you in them please let me know. 

Retreats and Events

Cancellation by you

A deposit is required to book your place. This is non-refundable. The balance is due 2 months before the retreat start date. Cancellation is required in writing with refunds as follows:

• Cancellation more than 60 days from retreat/event date – Full refund of monies paid (less the deposit and any admin fees)
• Cancellation between 60 and 20 days from retreat/event date (60 and 30 days for 2024 Portugal retreat) – Refund of 50% of the monies paid (less the deposit and any admin fees).
• Cancellation less than 20 days from retreat/event date (30 days for 2024 Portugal retreat) – no refund unless we can fill the place.

Cancellation by me

It is expected that participants to events will have adequate personal insurance to cover all eventualities that might occur.

If I cancel the retreat then all monies will be refunded, but will not be liable for any other expenses incurred by the participant, including but not limited to travel costs, insurance costs etc.

If I have to move the retreat to another date or venue, you will be entitled to the full amount (apart from your non-refundable deposit) back if you can no longer make dates given.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances that hinders, delays, or leads to cancellation of any events I will not be liable for any costs incurred or to repay any monies received. Participants will be expected to claim under their individual insurance. This includes but is not limited to, severe weather, acts of terrorism, disease epidemics, government actions, natural disasters, war, strikes, and failure of 3rd parties such as venues/caterers to provide their services. 

Classes and workshops

Cancellation/non-attendance

If you cancel more than 24 hours before the class/workshop time you will be able to book another class/workshop. No refunds will be given.

If you cancel within 24 hours of the class/workshop time I will try and fill your place. If I can, you will be able to book another class/workshop. No refunds will be given. If I can’t there will be no refund and no opportunity to replace that booking with another date/time.

In the case of non-attendance at a class/workshop there will be no refund and no opportunity to replace that booking with another date/time.
